You are Deeply Loved

It is not necessary to know all the answers. It is not even necessary to know all the questions you might ask. All that is required is that you know that you are not alone, that you are surrounded by the hosts of heaven, by angels and spirits, by love unbounded, by caring and attention. Know that you are deeply loved.

Go ahead, walk your life. Walk it as a man or woman walks, solid and centered, true to his or her own truth. Walk it making choices and decisions, being as brave as you can be, opening doors and saying yes, trying new things, being open to the newness that flows uninvited from the world. Hold your head high and do your very best to shine out unafraid as you travel the path that is laid out in front of you.

And as you walk, be certain of this one thing: you are surrounded by love, by help and guidance. At any moment, you can take a deep breath and ask: What shall I do now? How shall I handle this situation? How shall I face what I fear is behind that door?

And in that moment, an answer will come. Not an explanation, not a way to set your mind at ease with formulas and processes, not a map for all the steps to take. But an answer, an answer that says: Right now, in this moment, do this. And that is answer enough.

For in this moment, things are as they are. It does not matter what happened to make them as they are. Right now, things are as they are. This is not a statement of despair or resignation. This is a statement of truth, of wisdom. Things are as they are.

And the blessing is that there is always a response to things as they are, even if that response is to sit quietly and wait for the sun to rise another day, for the earth to take another turn, for the moon to pull the tides toward a strong and brilliant new day.

Have faith in yourself and in the help that is there for you. Trust that in its great mystery, the universe knows all and that this keep knowledge, that contains all that is and is likely to be, is conveyed to you when you ask your simple question.

All the wisdom in the world is contained in a single drop of water as it falls from the heavens. Hold out your hand and catch it. Watch it spread and fill your palm, then your heart, then your life. Gaze into the deep waters of grace and know that the answer is there.

And what is that answer? You are loved, you are deeply loved.

YOUR TRIALS AND SORROWS DEVELOP YOU

Photobucket

Trouble is the common denominator of living.
It's the great equalizer of life.
Whatever good or bad fortune comes your way,
give it meaning and transform it into something of value.

Personal growth is the process of responding positively to change.
All growth means change and change always involves risks,
stepping from the known to the unknown.

All of your growth depends on activity.
It only comes from continuous effort and struggle.

Life chips and pounds you to bring out your possibilities.
She will strip you of wealth, humble your pride,
humiliate your ambition, let you down from the ladder of fame,
and discipline you in a thousand different ways,
if she can develop a little character - everything gives way to that.

Wealth is nothing, position is nothing, fame is nothing.
Who you become inside is everything.

What happens to you is not as important as how you react
to what happens.

Grand Adventures Await

There are experiences waiting for you, grand adventures of soul and spirit that only you can have, for they are unique and individual; they are the way only you can have them.

And so, of course, they wait for you outside of what others have told you. For how can anyone else tell you how to walk your path, when it lies through a jungle no one else has ever entered, crosses a desert filled with oases no one else has discovered, leads to the mountain no one else has yet climbed?

Your path is the one that lies right in front of you, lit by only one or two footsteps that glow gold before you. You step forward into that glow and then one or two more footsteps appear. You step into the jungle and see a glowing symbol carved on a tree that seems to say, “This Way.” And this, then is your path.

It is shrouded in mystery. It is for you alone. Another person, standing before that same tree, might see nothing or perhaps an arrow pointing the opposite direction. For your journey is your own.

And why is this important to know? Because it requires you to have absolute belief in your own instincts, that little voice that suggests to you that what someone else is saying might not be right for you; that little tug that says that the ceremony someone else is performing would be slightly different if you were to follow your own instincts. All of this, these tugs, voices, and hunches, are not extraneous. They are central. They are, in fact, what matters.

For once you free yourself from the directives of others, once you become a student to your own intuitive instruction, things will become clearer. Once you begin to take from others only what resonates deeply within you and ignore the rest, then your own internal voice will become clearer and clearer. And then, with this clarity, your own internal voice will become distinct and you will be able to branch out and have amazing soul adventures with complete faith that you are, in fact, doing exactly what you are meant to do.

Listen. Feel. Know. Step. Dare. Reach. Laugh.

Ah, what an adventure this life is. How fortunate you are, how blessed, how steeped in grace. Enjoy!

Strength in Harmony

You are much, much stronger than you think you are. You are strong enough, not only to survive what life has brought you, but to thrive within it.
What you seek is harmony, harmony between what actually is, the new day as she is unfolding, and your actions and desires. Today, this moment, holds the power. You hold within you the strength, the presence of mind, the talent and creativity, the heart. You bring all of this to the unfolding moment that is.
Create a moment so harmonious that it hums with joy. Create a moment in which you are catching the flow that is, riding it as it tumbles down the mountain and reaches the sea, then riding the waves to a distant shore.
Yearning and regret, fear and anxiety, holding on to what no longer serves, all of these create disharmony. Set them down on the rocks as you climb into the swiftly moving waters of what truly is. Allow yourself to be carried and know that you will be strong enough, know that you will be guided and helped. Just harmonize your vibration to the hum of the universe that you can hear as it moves, as it spins, as it creates, as if flows.
Even this old, old river, ancient as it is, runs with new waters every second of every day. Dip in a hand and feel the vibration that runs through. Be sensitive to the current, the temperature, to how it is right now. Then fill yourself with faith, a deep belief in your own strength, and let go into the flow.
Ah, what a glorious ride life is!

5 Laws Of Life You Can Depend On

Photobucket

1. This, too, shall pass.

Nothing stays the same. The only constant in life

is change. With every decision we make, we initiate

change. Even when we decide not to decide, life still

goes on, and changes still occur. When we are in a

state of discomfort, sadness, grief, or pain, we know

that because life goes on, change will bring us some

kind of relief. And because even comfort, happiness,

and all good things also pass, we know that we need to

appreciate and cherish each precious, fleeting moment.

2. Time heals.

The timepiece of life never stops. Neither does it pause

for those who celebrate, speed up for those who are

impatient, nor slow down for those who fear tomorrow.

Time ticks a regular rhythm that steadily brings new

moments, new days, and new seasons. As time pushes

forward, we take new steps, face new challenges, and

create new opportunities. And as life goes on, we are

forced to move past our episodes of disappointment,

sorrow, or despair. More than anything else, time heals

not just broken bones but broken hearts as well.

3. Ask, and you shall receive.

People won t know what you want unless you ask

for it. Dreams and goals are just wishes until you

act on them, and acting on them often requires

that you ask for answers, for assistance, or for

something tangible. It takes a lot of courage to

ask for help, but when you come forward, only then

will the world know what to give you. Just ask and

know that miracles can happen.

4. You can have anything, but not everything.

Life offers us infinite possibilities. With hard work,

determination, and perseverance, we can achieve

anything. If we re willing to pay the price and go the

extra mile, we can have whatever our hearts desire.

But no matter how hard we try, we can t have

everything. Life is a balancing act of wins, losses,

and trade-offs; we gain some and we lose some.

5. What goes around comes around.

It s the universal law of nature: do to others what

you want others to do to you, because whatever

you sow, you reap; whatever you give, you get

back ten-fold. It doesn't hurt to smile, or be kind,

or extend a helping hand. You never know when

or how, but every act of goodness always returns

to the GIVER. Give one today and receive ten tomorrow.

Going With The Flow

Working with a Larger Energy

The expression going with the flow is a metaphor that applies to navigating a river. When we go with the flow, we follow the current of the river rather than push against it. People who go with the flow may be interpreted as lazy or passive, but to truly go with the flow requires awareness, presence, and the ability to blend one’s own energy with the prevailing energy. Going with the flow doesn’t mean we toss our oars into the water and kick back in the boat, hoping for the best. Going with the flow means we let go of our individual agenda and notice the play of energy all around us. We tap into that energy and flow with it, which gets us going where we need to go a whole lot faster than resistance will.

Going with the flow doesn’t mean that we don’t know where we’re going; it means that we are open to multiple ways of getting there. We are also open to changing our destination, clinging more to the essence of our goal than to the particulars. We acknowledge that letting go and modifying our plans is part of the process. Going with the flow means that we are aware of an energy that is larger than our small selves and we are open to working with it, not against it.

Many of us are afraid of going with the flow because we don’t trust that we will get where we want to go if we do. This causes us to cling to plans that aren’t working, stick to routes that are obstructed, and obsess over relationships that aren’t fulfilling. When you find yourself stuck in these kinds of patterns, do yourself a favor and open to the flow of what is rather than resisting it. Trust that the big river of your life has a plan for you and let it carry you onward. Throw overboard those things that are weighing you down. Be open to revising your maps. Take a deep breath and move into the current.
